Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of zero2ai.dev and the products sold through it, including the book “From Prompts to Pipelines” and the hosted AI workspace that comes with your purchase. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

zero2ai.dev is operated by Frontier Engineering, a sole proprietorship owned by Terrence Battlehunt, based in Baltimore, MD. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean Frontier Engineering. “You” means you, the person using the site or buying the product.

1. Your Account

  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not allowed.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up (name, email).
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
  • You can sign in with Google OAuth or email/password.

2. What You Are Buying

zero2ai.dev offers two tiers:

  • Builder ($79/mo) — The full book + a hosted AI workspace.
  • Pro ($129/mo) — The full book + a hosted AI workspace + priority support.

These are monthly subscriptions. Your workspace access begins when your instance is provisioned (usually within minutes of payment) and continues as long as your subscription is active.

If you cancel your subscription, your workspace remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your workspace is deactivated. You will receive email reminders so you can export your data. After deactivation, workspace data is deleted within 30 days. The book remains accessible in the web reader as long as your account is active.

3. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details directly — they are handled entirely by the payment processor. All prices are in USD.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. Your workspace access will be revoked upon refund.

5. Acceptable Use

Your hosted workspace is a real Linux environment running AI models. You agree not to:

  • Use the workspace for illegal activity of any kind.
  • Generate content that violates applicable laws (harassment, CSAM, fraud, etc.).
  • Run cryptocurrency mining or any resource-intensive process unrelated to the book’s content.
  • Attempt to access other users’ workspaces or attack the shared infrastructure.
  • Resell, share, or redistribute your workspace access or login credentials.
  • Use the workspace to send spam or conduct phishing.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or resource constraints.

6. Abuse Policy

If we detect activity that violates the acceptable use policy above, we will:

  1. First violation: We will notify you by email and give you 24 hours to stop the activity.
  2. Continued or severe violation:We will suspend your workspace immediately. Severe violations include any illegal activity, attacks on infrastructure, or attempts to access other users’ data.
  3. Termination: Repeated or egregious abuse results in account termination with no refund.

We reserve the right to suspend first and investigate later if the activity poses an immediate risk to other users or the infrastructure.

7. Workspace Limitations

  • Workspaces run on shared infrastructure. Performance may vary based on overall system load.
  • We do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage (no SLA). We aim for high availability but outages can happen.
  • AI model access is provided through OpenRouter using DeepSeek models. Model availability depends on third-party providers and may change.
  • Workspace resources (CPU, RAM, storage) are subject to fair-use limits appropriate for book exercises.

8. Intellectual Property

Our content:The book “From Prompts to Pipelines,” including all text, diagrams, code examples, and system designs, is copyrighted by Terrence Battlehunt / Frontier Engineering. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell the book content.

Your content: Anything you create in your workspace belongs to you. Your prompts, configurations, AI-generated outputs, and project files are yours. We do not claim any ownership over content you create.

9. Data Export

You can export your workspace data at any time while your workspace is active. We will send you reminder emails before your access period ends so you have time to save your work. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and export.

10. Limitation of Liability

zero2ai.dev provides educational content and AI workspace access. We are not liable for:

  • Business decisions you make based on AI-generated output.
  • Revenue, profit, or data loss resulting from use of the workspace or book content.
  • Downtime, data loss, or service interruptions on the shared infrastructure.
  • Actions or output of third-party AI models (DeepSeek, OpenRouter).

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your purchase.

By you: You can stop using the service at any time. If you want your account deleted, email us and we will remove it.

By us: We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use and abuse policies above. If we terminate your account for reasons other than abuse within the first 14 days, you are entitled to a full refund.
